Residential Renewable Energy Solutions (RRES) Program in Connecticut

The Residential Renewable Energy Solutions (RRES) program, launched in January 2022, provides homeowners in Connecticut with two options for compensating energy produced by their renewable energy systems:

1. Buy-All Tariff:
   • Homeowners sell all electricity generated by their system to the utility at a fixed rate for a 20-year term.
   • This option is ideal for homeowners who want a guaranteed income for all electricity produced.
2. Netting Tariff:
   • Homeowners use the electricity generated by their system to offset their own consumption.
